GoogleMaps real estate search bites the dust

GoogleMaps real estate search bites the dust

On the 10th of February, GoogleMaps will be retiring their real estate search functionality, and will discontinue accepting property data from providers such as iProperty. Shortly after the 10th, iProperty will be removing the GoogleBase portal from the publishing options in iDashboard.

More information on Google’s decision can be found on the Google Lat Long Blog here.

You can see the service that is going to be shut down by going here. Please note this does not effect the GoogleMaps on your own website that is hosted by iProperty.

iProperty develops websites, software and intelligent marketing solutions for the real estate industry. Our premier real estate software solution, iDashboard, is used daily by over 8000 agents and is the engine that powers 500+ real estate websites. iDashboard helps create efficient real estate workplaces with extensive property listing controls for marketing, sales and property management.
